Alpha Designs is based in the UK and was formed
in response to the expansion of the Internet
market in 2000 and since then we have helped
small to medium sized businesses and organisations
develop their on and off-line image.

Workmatch
Formed as a charitable company in 1995, Workmatch
provides training and support for disadvantaged
people to help them prepare for and find places
in the ordinary work environment. To do this
it was necessary to provide work environments
within which to train. Thus 'projects' were
developed. Each now runs as a business within
Workmatch but is required to trade commercially
to help fund the overall charity. There are
currently four businesses, known collectively
as Bizmatch.

Workmatch established four social enterprises
companies that are centrally under the broad
heading of Bizmatch. These companies provide
the necessary environment for learning or re-establishing
skills of the workplace, but also generate much
needed income to support the Workmatch charity.

Spokes
Bicycles, Herefordshire
Part of Bizmatch Ltd. The Spokes project collects
discarded or second hand bicycles from a variety
of sources and strips them down, retaining the
good parts and then rebuilds, services and checks
bikes before selling them on as cheap first
bicycles.

in 2007 as the regional network and voice for
social enterprise. Our members are committed
to developing a strong social enterprise sector
in the West Midlands.

Hereford, Herefordshire
ABLE is a free, impartial and confidential service
of information, advice and, in some cases, practical
help. ABLE provides one focal point of contact
for the multitude of questions, which can confront
a person with a disability.
